Plaits, Princesses & Pink Moisturiser

Photos taken for “Plaits, Princesses and Pink Moisturiser”, an exhibition curated by Korantema Anyimadu exploring the intimate relationship between hair and identity for several Black women and non-binary people from Waltham Forest. The exhibition received a ‘Making History Award 2019’ by the Mayor of London and has been reviewed by publications including Vice,  Roundtable Journal and Shades of Noir. A subsequent zine featuring my photos and collage work has been stocked in bookstores and reviewed by Gal-dem.
